WORLD SPORTING USA 2024 – Update.
Following discussion with the NSCA and the Shooting Ground holding the World Sporting in America in 2024, we have been told that team arrangements are different to the World events held by the CPSA and the ICTSF.
For the NSRA shoot team members are compiled by the ground from names supplied by a country, which must consist of shooters already entered into the event as individuals.
As this shoot has been virtually sold out for some months this will limit the shooters that will be available to shoot for any Welsh Team.
To this end the Board decided to canvass those shooters who have expressed a desire to represent Wales at the event, and who have ALREADY booked on as individuals, and ask them to make themselves known to the Board by emailing Secretary@wctsa.co.uk as soon as possible.
As such the proposed route of shooters submitting scores from nominated shoots is no longer appropriate.
The Board will be discussing the next ICTSF World Championships to be held in Canada in 2025 with the intention of sending a team.
