Sunday, August 9th, saw the 2020 Welsh Skeet Open take place.
On a great day for shooting, with good visibility and little breeze, 80 shooters converged on Fauxdegla SG for this year’s event.
At the end of the day’s shooting, 3 shooters were tied on a 99-Allen Warren, Stephen Gale and Matt Morgan.
We were then treated to a thrilling shoot-off, with all 3 shooting 24/25 and then 3/4 on the pairs from Peg 4. We then went into a second round of pairs from Peg 4 and this time, Allen Warren straighted them to emerge victorious.
Included in the first round of shoot-offs, were the competitiors for the Overall Ladies High Gun and the Junior High Gun-all of who shot extremely well!
