We hope that you’ve enjoyed the past year of shooting and events-the weather during the summer was certainly a highlight!
2022 has been a challenging year, with prices increasing dramatically and that then pushing the inflation rate up-and of course, not forgetting the rises in energy costs.
Supplier costs to the WCTSA have increased-with insurance cover alone risen by over £7,000 and we have tried to absorb most of these price increases, but with the rate of inflation now above 11% it is not possible for us to carry on and absorb all these increases ourselves and we must pass on a small proportion of these increased costs-so for the 2023 season, membership fees will rise by £5 per year for Adult from £60 to £65pa and Senior Citizen(Over 65) from £50 to £55 pa .
We have not increased the Junior or Colt memberships for 2023, as we feel it’s important to the future of shooting, to continue to attract young shooters into the sport.
These increases will take effect from January 1st 2023 and any members paying by Standing Order, can they please amend them to include this increase
The WCTSA also have a number of initiatives that it is working on and will continue to support and promote its members, shooters and grounds, for the benefit of all.
