A wide-range of events to report on tonight.
Firstly, huge congratulations to Simon Jenkins, who in the GBR UT team, shooting in Gaj, Slovenia, shot a massive 181, to end up in 4th place in the Men’s Grand Prix!
Next, we have Owain Humphreys, selected to shoot for the GBR Junior Mens Olympic Trap team, competing in the Nordic Shooting Region (NSR) Championship in August 2022, in Finland. Llongyfarchiadau Owain!!
Back on home soil, on Sunday, there was the Olympic Trap Welsh Open and 5th Welsh Qualifier at SW2000. High Gun was M. Robinson on a 93 and Welsh High Gun, was Owain Humphreys on a 91. Well shot all!
At Crynant SG, the 4th Welsh NSK Qualifier took place. With 36 shooters taking part, there were no less than 22 scores of 90 and over!!
High Gun on 98 was Paul Heywood, with Nigel Hodson 2nd with a 97 and Deena Irving 3rd with a 96!! Great shooting all..
The other Welsh Qualifier shot over the weekend, was the 6th and last DTL. Held at Fauxdegla SG, Welsh High Gun and Joint Overall High Gun with 100/299, was Phil Morgan. Well shot Phil.
As this was the final DTL Qualifier, the Welsh DTL Team was also announced and includes 2 New Caps-M Williams and I Foster-congratulations both and to the selected team. Good luck in the HCIT at Banbridge CTC
