There’s no doubt as to the Top story this week-the fact that Wales has 2 World DTL Champions!!!!
At the 14th ICTSF World DTL Championship, held in South Africa, Elis Jones came away as Overall High Gun and 2023 World DTL Champion, with a score of 895/900-8 points ahead of the runner-up and shooting the only 100/300 of the whole Championship on Day 3 and the Super Squad!! Fantastic shooting Elis and Congratulations from us all!!
And Wales’ second World Champion, is David Baugh-the 2023 World DTL Super Vet Champion….and again, congratulations and very well shot!!

Back home, Gloucester CSC, held the 4th Welsh NSK Qualifier. With 45 shooters, it was a well-attended event. High Guns on 97 for a 4-way tie, were Brian Robinson and Welsh High Guns were Geraint Owen, Rob Trow and Nigel Hodson. Well shot all!! Full scores below-
Fauxdegla SG also held a Welsh Qualifier on Sunday, the 3rd Welsh DTL Qualifier. High Gun was Phil Morgan with 100/299, with Wayne Clifton on his heels with 100/297-the only 2 shooters to shoot 100 on the day! Congratulations both!!

This coming Easter Sunday, there are 2 Welsh Qualifiers happening-the 1st OTR at SW2000 and the 1st Sporting & Tony King Memorial at St.Dials SG. Full details are on the website Events page
