Where Did That Week Go????????

So, another week’s gone by and lots of shooting going on!

Starting this week’s report off is Gareth Irving, who shot the 1st 100 straight on the NSK at Gloucester Gun Club in over 3 years!! Great shooting Gareth..

On Saturday, Phil Morgan was DTL High Gun at Brookbank, shooting 100/298-well shot Phil!

At the National Clay Shooting Centre, the weekend saw the 3rd round of the Skeet Shotgun Series. Congratulations to Ben Llewellin on winning the Gold Medal!!

Griffin Lloyd Shooting Ground held a registered 100 OTR-results below, but at the end of the day, the New Caps shooting for Wales were presented with their badges and ties.

In the first picture, we have Cal Pritchard, Nick Ristic, Mike Harrison and Rob Shone. In the second picture, OTR New Caps are, Liz Walton-James, Gareth Davies, Mike Bennett, John Slatter and Richard Hillier. Congratulations all and good luck in the HCIT!!

Sunday saw the 5th Welsh Sporting Qualifier take place at Dovey Valley Shooting Ground. With excellent weather conditions and great technical targets, this was a shoot enjoyed by all. 105 shooters signed in and at the end of the shooting, there was a tie on 92, for Joint High Guns between Mike Jones and Billy Baughan, closely followed in 3rd place by Andrew White. Well shot all!

But undoubtedly the result of the weekend, was Robert Clarke’s win at the Gamebore DTL Grand Prix at East Yorkshire Shooting Ground! Shooting 100/298 and a 99/296 for a 2-day total of 199/594, Robert came out on top of the leaderboard. Great result and congratulations!!

Don’t forget that next weekend sees the 6th Welsh Sporting Qualifier at Crynant SG and the ABT Welsh Qualifier double-header at SW2000. Please book on for these shoots by contacting the grounds by Friday at the latest.
