What A Weekend’s Shooting That Was!!

WOW!! What a busy weekend of shooting that was!!

Three Welsh Selection shoots, with the 1st Sporting Selection Shoot on Saturday at Quattro Lodge, the 2nd DTL Selection Shoot at SW2000 and the 3rd being the 1st NSK Selection Shoot at Fauxdegla.

It was great to see so many Welsh shooters out and in the main, the weekend’s weather held fair but cold.

On Saturday, the 1st Sporting Selection Shoot was held at Quattro Lodge and this saw some great shooting on a tricky course. At the end of the day, it was Grant Pendleton that took High Gun on an 89-3 targets clear of second-place man, Richard Hughes. Well done Grant!

At SW2000 on Sunday, the 2nd DTL Selection Shoot took place. Here, John Jones took High Gun on a 100/298-5 points ahead of second placed D Owen. Great shooting John.

Fauxdegla Shooting ground was the venus for the 1st NSK Selection Shoot and there was some great shooting, with 21 of the 36 entrants scoring a 90 or more. But the star of the show was undoubtedly Dave Tavernor, who shot a superb 100 straight!! Congratulation Dave!
