Weekend Roundup!

So not a busy Welsh Qualifying shoot weekend, but still a busy one and a very busy weekend to come!

Firstly, congratulations to Simon Jenkins, chosen to shoot UT and to represent GB! Well done Simon!!

Our best wishes to Welsh shooters in the GB FITASC team-Rob Evans, Mick Harding, Janine White and Annalise Evans for the upcoming European FITASC Championship, being held in France. And of course, good luck to all the Welsh shooters taking part!

This coming weekend sees the 3rd & 4th OSK Welsh Qualifiers at SW2000, the 3rd NSK Welsh Qualifier at Crynant SG and the 4th OT Welsh Qualifier at Griffin Lloyd SG. Please ensure that you contact the ground as soon as possible, prior to the shoots to book on-and Good Luck all!!

But this last weekend, saw the 2nd Sporting Welsh Qualifier held at Tregaron SG.

And that’s a wrap for our first ever Welsh qualifier and it’s been a huge success.
First of all massive thanks to Henry Bulman and Heulwen Bulman for the use of the land and the first class facilities they provided. The second thanks goes to all the members, refs and trap fillers and catering assistants that helped us out, without you the day would not have been possible. And the 3rd thanks goes to all the shooters who attended, we as a club all agreed that the course shot harder than it looked but judging by the barrage of positive feedback we have received everyone really enjoyed themselves. I’ve probably forgotten some people and I apologise.
Congratulations to Andrew White and Mike Jones on joint high gun scoring 93. Also huge congratulations to all class winners.
