Wales -vs- Army OSK Match report by Dave Jones

This last weekend, 13th October 2024, saw the long awaited 2024 OSK fixture between the Army and Team Wales. In its third year, with a win for Wales and a win for the Army already logged on the Trophy, it was the Army who shot well and secured the Third tournament. Our Congratulations to them.

The top three were Ben Cookson (Army), who shot a very respectable 93, followed by Toby Etheridge (Army) on 86 and Tony Cox (Wales) on 84. The Army Captain Major Rob Vincent has invited all to the 2025 fixture, hopefully at Bisley Camp, on their turf.

Sincere thanks goes to Crynant Shooting Ground, who hosted the tournament this year with Leon and his staff working hard over the very busy day for them. Fortunately, the Welsh weather behaved itself, and we had a pleasant dry day for the event. Thanks to all who attended and, in particular, to Des Davies and Roger Harrendence, who officiated for the entire event

Best wishes
