The Paul Jenkins OSK memorial shoot was held at Crynant this year on Saturday 20th September. Two squads braved the typical Welsh elements.
We certainly knew what was meant by OSK being an “Outdoor sport”, to say it was raining was an understatement, at one point it went so dark we all thought someone had switched the lights off.
Just imagine shooting on stand 8 with thunder rain falling vertically, there was no escape… but Hey! we all had smiles on our faces and there were two top scores of 86 from Des Davies and Tony Cox. Not bad under those conditions.
It was great to see Lindsay had turned up for the day where she presented the Paul Jenkins Shield to the winner (after a shoot off), Tony Cox.
