So, with Father Christmas loading up all the shooting gear for those lucky shooters on Christmas Day, the last weekend saw a number of festive shoots!!
Crynant SG held their 6th NSK Winter Series with A Class being won by Rob Trow on a 64, B Class by Dai Watkins with an 85 and C Class by Paul Pratt with a 91! Well shot all!!
Their opening hours over the holidays are-December 21st, 24th 26th, 28th, 31st and January 1st!
Griffin Lloyd SG’s festive opening times are-
Fauxdegla SG held their 3rd DTL Eley Winter Series in challenging conditions on Sunday. High Gun on a 97/284 was Dan Price, with Ellis Pritchard only 3 points behind him in 3rd place with a 96/281, closely followed by another 6 Welsh shooters. Great shooting all!!
At SW2000, shooters risked the weather to shoot both the ABT & OT Winter Series and even on such an awful day-weather-wise, Simon Jenkins shot a 25 staright on the ABT and went on to be High Gun with an 84!! Nice shooting Simon. On the OTR, Neil Jones was High Gun with an 87. Good shooting Neil!
On the DTL Re-Entry Christmas Shoot, High Gun was Rhys Morgan on 72, 2nd was Graham Evans on 69 and 3rd was John Davies on a 66. Well shot and a big thank you to all who turned out.

And on the trip to Bradford SG, Phil Morgan was 2nd in AA with a 100/296, Nigel Clarke was 1st in A and notable results in C Class, with Rhys Morgan 1st, John Davies 2nd and Alan Williams joint 3rd! Well done all!!
Sunday also saw the 100ESP Christmas Shoot at St Dials Farm where Rhys Poweel was High Gun, Jon Kendall 1st in AA, Matt Woodruffe 1st in A, Chris Rees 1st in B, Ian Davies 1st in C, John Hoare Junior HG and Lisa Bulman Lady HG! Great shooting all.
As we come towards the end of another year, I’d like, on behalf of all shooters to thank all of the staff at the grounds that look after us so well-you are much appreciated!
