Olympic Skeet Selection Shoot 5 Report by Alf Weston

Hi Guys

OSK Selection shoot 5 took place at Crynant this weekend on the Saturday with the usual excellent hospitality from Chris Hughes and the family.

Arriving a little earlier than usual as requested, our welcome was heralded by clouds and some early rain which was short lived.

The rain cleared by 9.00 ish and the day turned out sunny and generally warm as the day progressed.

The group was in good spirits, great to see Max back in operation. We had two squads, the scores were somewhat mixed with some difficult targets but top score was 81 from Tony Cox and Deri Lewis put in a creditable 70.

It was good to see Richie Cann put in a second MQS underlining his qualification for the team.

Onwards and Upwards to Griffin Lloyd in two weeks’ time for Selection shoot 6, on Sunday 23rd June where we will have a clearer picture of the final team places

All good wishes

Alf
