A changeable day at Crynant was enjoyed by the faithful few on Saturday the 7th June.
We were able to use the lower layout and the targets were set for shooting to begin at
10.00am. The forecast was ominous but we were on the lucky side until later in the day
avoiding the heavy rain, wind and Thunderstorms … settling for dry spells and some
drizzly showers.
Top score was Tony Cox with 83, followed by Rob Harry on 75 and Richie Cann on 73
Our thanks to Claire for marking the entire selection shoot.
Chris and Leon were their usual hospitable selves, looking after us well and the last
shots were at 1.25pm.
In the clubhouse at the end, we witnessed how lucky we were as the stair rods of rain
appeared as if on cue.
Looking forward to our final selection shoot at Griffin Lloyd on Sunday the 22nd June.
