Fitasc Sporting Home International 2025 Report by Stuart Hart

2025 was the turn of England to host the tournament at the West Midlands Shooting Ground (Hodnet). We must express our gratitude to WMSG and the Jones family for their efforts in hosting the event.

It was a thoroughly testing course spread out showcasing a great variety of terrain. Targets up high above the the trees, to targets way… way below your feet!

Josh Keeble captained the team and led the way, posting an impressive 24/25 on layout 3, 2 clear of the next highest score posted on layout 3.

Josh would end up in 4th overall at the end of the day on 82 – only 4 away from high gun

Jacob 0’Loughlin was close behind with 81 , which was enough to earn =5th Overall

Janine White took the Overall Ladies trophy by 3 targets

Super Veteran pairing of Mick Harding and Nigel Hart secured runner up team positions, with Nigel winning the Welsh Super Veteran Cup

Phil Patch won the Welsh veteran cup

Rhys Powell won the Junior Welsh cup

The Senior team were runner up of the match behind England, beating Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland.

Next year the event moves to Scotland and we have been informed that the venue will be Bisley at Braidwood.
