2024 has seen some fantastic results for DTL and our discipline representatives Elis Jones and Will Palmer, would like to make special mention for the following events that happened earlier this year.
8th June -English Open
Congratulations to Iwan Mills, Phill Mills, Gareth Lloyd and Phill Morgan at the English Open.
Iwan took the Junior High Gun title on a superb score of 98/291 (4th Overall) as well as AA Class Trophy and to his father Phill winning the A Class Trophy on a 96/287 (12th Overall).
To top it off Iwan & Phill won the Parent & Child Trophy.
Gareth Lloyd took the honours in B Class.
Phillip Morgan finished 3rd in Veterans.
10th July – European Championships
We had some good results from the European Championships.
Congratulations to Phillip Morgan taking the European Veteran Champion title on a score of 100/297.
In the teams, our Open team consisting of John Jones, Elis Jones, Paul Davies, Karl Jones captained by Glyn Bullock finished in 3rd place behind the strong English side and France.
The Veterans team consisting of Phillip Morgan, Alan Evans and new cap Alan Williams finished as runners up behind Scotland. All three shooting excellently.
13th July – World Championships
Congratulations to Phillip Morgan becoming the 2024 Veteran World Champion and 4th Overall!
To add to his World Championship title in 2012 and European Veteran Title earlier in the week.

Also, the Veterans team consisting of Phill Morgan, Alan Evans and Alan Williams becoming Veterans Team World Champions. Fantastic result against very good shooters.
