Happy Valentine’s Day!!
With the first of the Welsh Team selection shoots coming up at the end of the month, the headline banner is very apt! Good luck to all those shooting for the Welsh Teams in 2023!
First off, is an invitation from Joe Attard, to shoot the Gozo 200 DTL Open, on May 6th & 7th. Joe and a group of shooters, came over to shoot the Welsh Open last year-so are now extending a return invitation. Might be useful as some warm-weather training as well. This Sunday also sees a 100 registered OTR at Griffin Lloyd, with entries from 9.30-11.00am. The Sporting layout is open as normal.
SW2000 held the last of their ABT Winter Series last weekend, with Phil Dando High Gun, with a 94, Rhys Tucker 2nd on an 87 and Kevin Evans 3rd with an 85.
The series overall High Gun, by 1 point was Simon Jenkins. Congratulations all!!
Fauxdegla Shooting Ground ran a number of shoots last weekend too-a 50 OTR, a 50 ESK and the 100 Reg ESK Cheshire Selection. With Welsh shooters in all, a special mention to Dave Tavernor, Joint High Gun with a 95/100 in the Cheshire Selection shoot. Great shooting all…..
