AGM to ABT!!

Saturday, saw the WCTSA AGM, held at Trefeglwys Memorial Hall and by zoom. After the official business, came the presentations. This year’s WCTSA Junior Sports Personality of the Year was Iwan Mills; the WCTSA Sports Personality of the Year was Mick Harding and the Arthur & Rita Williams Trophy for Outstanding Contribution to Welsh Shooting , was presented to Richard (Brewster) Hughes.   Congratulations to all!!

 

Sunday also saw the ABT County Final at SW2000.

Was a very mild sunny day with excellent targets. Everything ran very smoothly and congratulations to all winners and it was fantastic to see some new faces having a go at the discipline-Emyr Davies

Next weekend on Sunday, October 23rd, sees the last County Final of 2022-NSK at North Wales SS. If you haven’t booked on already, please call the ground no later than Friday and please remember to return previous year’s trophies for this year’s presentations.

Grounds are now starting to run Winter Series in a number of disciplines. Fauxdegla SG are runnung the Eley DTL Winter Series on every 3rd Sunday in the month from October.

SW2000’s Winter Series programme is as follows-

And Crynant SG is running its NSK Winter Series on November 6th, 11th & 27th December 4th & 18th and January 8th, with the Final on January 22nd. The first round took place on October 16th, with the High Guns being- A Class-Lloyd Handley, B Class-Meuric Lewis & Dai Watkins, C Class-Rob Ace & Chris Hughes
