(Home international selection procedure will remain unchanged).
Welsh Development squad definition:
Top (4) seniors in the welsh ranking who also participate in the British selection process.
Top (1) junior shooter in the welsh ranking who also participates in the British selection process.
The National squad will be determined by the following criteria:
• Welsh rankings after the full annual selection cycle. In conjunction with:
• British selection participation (this is necessary to ensure people with commonwealth and British aspirations are prioritized).
(It is proposed that the squad that is selected will have a life cycle of 1 complete season before reselection determines any necessary changes to the Welsh squad).
British selection aspiration defined:
Shooters should compete at a minimum of 2 of the 5 scheduled British selection shoots during the selection cycle).
