Attention Sporting Shooters

Chris Hassett – Board Member/Sporting Representative

We are on the run up to the 2008 shooting season. As a member of last year’s Sporting squad, I hope you will compete in the Welsh Qualifiers this year.

You may know that there is a Fundraiser event at South Wales 2000, on the 24^th March 2008. The owner has kindly donate the event to us, therefore we will need to man the stands and scores ourselves. (Final arrangements may change). As ever, quality targets will be thrown.

I urge you where possible to bring a friend, it will boost numbers. I am encouraging aspiring shooters to attend this event, and the qualifiers.

After the shoot, I will be speaking to everyone who wishes to shoot in the Sporting World Championships (Lakenheath) in June, and the Home International, (Scotland) in September. All probable and possible entrants are welcome to attend the short talk.

The World Championship and European Championship DTL teams in 2008 will be decided from the best 4 qualifiers plus the Home international.

Just a reminder to all members - the WCTSA 2008 AGM will take place on March 15th 2008 at Mid Wales Shooting Centre at 2:30pm prompt. (The date of the 22nd shown in the Pull magazine was a misprint.)
