Mid Wales Shooting Centre - 100 DTL - Sunday 22nd January 2006
There were 109 guns at Mid Wales.
At the 50 stage it was Lady shooter Sharon Ebbrel who was leading the pack with a score of 150 x 149 but a few clays got the better of her on the second 50 targets. Out of the first wave of shooters not one person posted a 100 straight.
The second batch of shooters produced a winner and High Gun of the day it was the popular in-form Welshman - Phil Morgan. Shooting the first 50 clean and then barreling 2 targets on the 75 stage he finished with a clear last round posting a score of 100 x 298. He was one of only 2 shooters who shot the hundred straight, the other was a T. Swinburn who shot a 100 x 294.
Some excellent scores coming from Mid Wales at such an early time of the
season.
