FITASC Home International Report - September 2006
Home International Report
This years Fitasc Sporting Home International was held on home soil at Brondai Shooting Ground near Llandeilo.
Host’s Netty and Chris put on a splendid event with good targets enjoyed by all who took part.
The weather started as fine and sunny, until a torrential downpour around 10.30. The sun came out afterwards and it turned into a beautiful day.
The competition ended with England winning all team trophies, with Wales Junior team coming second and the ladies sharing second place with Scotland.
Individual High Gun went to Englands Steve Brightwell for the second year running with a score of 91. Scotland's Edith Barnes won the individual Ladies section.
Highest score for Wales was Captain Andrew White with 83.

The evening’s food was also organised by Netty and her team of local ladies and friends, some of them had travelled a long distance to be there. The food was second to none and enjoyed by everyone including myself.
The WCTSA are very fortunate to have such a group of dedicated people to put on this prestigious event and run it so efficiently.
